I Just Got Back: A Detty December Social Guide

It’s that time of the year where the night is just a concept and your liver is full of alcohol. Detty December is here again! If you’re going to Lagos this December, the flight tickets aren't the only thing you should plan for. As for activities, there’s always something to do. A spontaneous trip to Lagos is nice as it is a place full of surprises but depending on your interests, it’s best to do some research on things happening to get the best experience.

Beach day at an Illashe Beach house: Usually, this requires renting a boat and beach house. You can also check out some beach resorts as well that might offer packages. If you don’t mind a bit of a crowd, you can check out Sunday at Illashe for an affordable beach party experience.



Landmark and Sol Beach: This is another way to get a nice beach experience without the wahala of finding a boat. Landmark has a boardwalk strip with different beach clubs, sporting activities and food. It also has a cinema and shops. Sol beach provides a more quiet beach experience with food and nice scenery. There’s also a beach club called Truth Beach club.

Apart from the beach, Lagos is filled with rich culture and this can be seen almost everywhere. Here are some cool places to check out:
